The clients are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the following conditions, which may be amended by Star Cruises from time to time without notice to the clients.
Booking/Reservation
Booking/reservation must be made at least 7 working days prior to departure date.
Deposit and Payment
A deposit of S$200 per person (including Child and Infant) is required upon booking. This deposit will form part of your final payment. However, a payment of deposit does not constitute the confirmation of the tour. Balance or full payment must be made 14 days prior to departure. If booking is made 14 days or less prior to departure, full payment must be paid upon booking. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in an automatic cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.
Package Price
Prices shown are current at the time of the publication of the brochure or the Price List which forms part of the brochure. It is subject to change due to increase in Coach fares, transport costs, hotel rates, government tax, etc.,without prior notice.
Package Excludes:
- Taxes, excess baggage charges
- Travel Insurance
- Meals, gratuities and other services not listed in the itinerary package
- Tipping
- Visas, if necessary
Cancellation Charges
You may cancel your booking at any time. However, cancellation must be made in writing to avoid any misunderstanding. The following cancellation charges will be imposed:

If cancellation is due to the rejection/non-approval of visas by the relevant authorities, an administrative fee of S$50.00 per person will be imposed. This is only applicable for the person whose visa has not been granted and is unable to travel.
Administrative / Amendment Fee
A minimum administrative fee of S$ 75.00 per person will be imposed for any amendment made to the booking. All amendments must strictly be made in writing.
Refund Of Unused Services
No refund or exchange can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport, and/or other services, which are included in the package but are not utilised by the client.
Extension Of Stay / Deviation Of Tour
Any extension of stay/deviation of tour is subject to validity/restrictions of the Carrier ticket and confirmation of any other extension/deviation arrangements prior to departure. Extensions of stay/deviation of tour will be at the client’s own expense and any meals/services provided for the normal tour will be forfeited. The Company and its overseas agents shall not be held responsible for any inconvenience caused and extra expenses incurred.
Travel Documents
It is the passengers responsibility to ensure their travel documents and necessary visas are in order. The Company will advise you on what documentation is required. As a guide, you must have an International Passport or other recognised travel documents which should be valid for at least six months from the date of departure to the last destination of your itinerary. You must have necessary visas, vaccinations and health certificates as required by the various Government authorities of the countries to be visited.
Travel Insurance
The client is aware and acknowledges that Star Cruises do not provide any travel insurance and therefore the client is advised to sign up their own Travel Insurance for personal/family coverage for trip cancellation, accident, medical/ hospitalisation, flight delay, baggage and personal effects, etc.
Possible Changes
Carrier schedules and local conditions may affect accommodation and routings to be changed. Should this occur, the Company will, wherever possible, substitute a suitable arrangement of a similar value.
The Company reserves the right to alter, cancel or withdraw any itinerary, or a booking made for a client. The Company also has the right to decline acceptance or to retain any person as a member of the tour if it appears that such person is likely to endanger the health, safety or impair the comfort and enjoyment of others on the tour. The Company further reserves the right to cancel any reservation if, for any other reason, any carrier, hotel, or other contractor refuses to allow the client to take part in the tour. In any of the foregoing events, the Company’s sole liability shall be to refund the client any monies paid less the amount for services already utilised, administration and cancellation fees.
Hotel Accommodation
Hotels used as indicated in the brochure/flyer. In the event that accommodation in the selected hotel is not available, every effort will be made for an alternative in another hotel of similar standard. Unless specifically mentioned, all room will be on run-of-house basis.
Baggage
Passengers are allowed baggage not exceeding 20 kilograms per person. Excess baggage must be paid locally by passengers. Only one piece of hand luggage is allowed.
The Company and its associated agents act only as agents for the tour members, transportation companies, accommodation companies, entertainment or meal suppliers and any other principals involved in the package. All tickets, vouchers and documents issued are subject to the terms and conditions and contracts under which such transportation and services are provided.
The Company and its associated agents, representatives are not responsible and expressly disclaim any liability for any injury, illness, damage, loss, delay, accident or irregularities that may be caused to person or property and contact of the owner or operator of the services involved. The transportation companies or firms shall be exempted from all liability in respect of any detention, delay, loss, danger, sickness or injury, by whosoever caused and of whatever kind occurring of or to the tour member at any time when the tour member is not on board a carrier or conveyance used or operated by the transportation companies.
The Company does not accept any liability in contact or in tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events which are beyond its control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on its part including but not limited to war, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of gods, acts of government or of any authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action.
Overseas agents, tour managers, guides or employees are not authorised to commit the Company to any liability whatsoever and the Company will not be bound by any statement or representation, unless it is in writing and signed by a management executive of the Company.Complaint/Claim
Any complaint/ claim must be made in writing within 7 days after completion of the tour.
No responsibility is accepted in respect of a complaint/claim that is not made.
Important Note
Carrier schedule and Hotel confirmation/reservation are subjected to changes in rates,class and categories if the necessity arises with/without notice owing to availability upon booking.
The above conditions shall apply in addition to the provisions of Star Cruises Terms and Conditions of passage.
